We are the new sustainable launderette that cares about the world and the people who live in it.

Our washing powders and softeners are biodegradable: they are more efficient, need less water and are kinder to the environment. All our washers and dryers are state of the art, save water and energy and have a useful life of up to 20 years. We work with certified renewable energies and we collaborate with several local initiatives.

Being environmentally friendly can also be affordable if we use cutting edge technology that helps us save water, washing powder and energy. That, and because we only charge what is fair, is why our prices are so low. No gimmicks!

Yes, you can pay with coins and banknotes up to €50. Also, our Twist Box gives change in notes, so no need to worry about leaving with your pockets full of coins.

If you don’t carry cash, you can pay by card or contactless on the Twist Box. It’s that easy!

At the moment we are located in Gràcia and soon in Poblenou, two very lively and charming districts in Barcelona that are full of local businesses, although very soon we’ll be opening more Twist & Shine branches in other parts of Barcelona and in other cities. All Twist & Shine washing and drying machines have a capacity of 16 kg. Say goodbye to having to wait until a large washer or dryer is free to handle that huge winter eiderdown.

All our washing powders and softeners are enzymatic and biodegradable: they are more efficient, use less water and are kinder to the environment. We have three types of powder: one for whites, one for colours and another that includes active oxygen to give your clothes the best possible hygienic clean in a natural way. We also have three softeners. Flower Power: with a subtle, attractive aroma of blue flowers, citrous and berries. Superfresh: with a sharp, light aroma of talcum powder and Pacific Breeze: with an appealing fresh aroma of white flowers and a sea breeze. All our powders and softeners cost €0.30 each. You can choose these products on the Twist Box, or use your own powder and softener if you prefer.

Whether it’s because you are sensitive to ingredients or you simply don’t want to give up the softener that reminds you of your first summer love, at Twist & Shine you can always use your own powder and softener. All you have to do is put it into the drawer that you’ll find at the front of the washer and choose the option without powder and/or softener on the Twist Box when choosing your washing programme.

All the washing programmes last 30 minutes. The drying machines have a preset time of 30 minutes, which is what we recommend as a good drying time, although you can always choose more or less time on the Twist Box. Therefore, washing and drying together takes around 60 minutes.

And if waiting isn’t for you, we have the Twist & Delivery service: for €19.90 we collect your clothes and return them to you washed, dried and folded the following day. Click here for more information about our collection and delivery service.

Of course! By joining the Twist & Friends community you get a direct discount of 5%. If you continue to use our service, each month you can enjoy this 5% discount. And if you invite your friends, you’ll earn more discounts for the next month depending on how much they use us. Each month you can enjoy a combined maximum discount of up to 30%.

Yes. As a member of Twist & Friends, you can also enjoy our Twist & Delivery service: we collect your clothes (up to 16kg or the maximum volume of the bag), wash, dry and fold them and return them to you with a courier service using electric motorcycles. We will give you a biodegradable and water-soluble bag where you can put your clothes in. Clothes are collected before 8.00 pm and are returned the following day from 9 am onwards, from Monday to Saturday inclusive.

At our Twist & Shine launderettes you’ll find all the information you need about the washing and drying programmes, usage instructions, powders and softeners, and an explanation to help you understand the various symbols on clothes. However, if you have a query or if there is an incident, you will find a button on our Twist Box (the payment machine) that lets you talk directly to our customer support team. You can also call us on 722 23 97 92 or email us at info@twistnshine.com and we will get back to you as quickly as possible. Remember, our hours are from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm, seven days a week.

We look after your clothes as if they were our own, but we do not accept any responsibility for personal items left inside garments. Please check all the pockets of your jackets and trousers carefully before washing or drying them.
